Frogger is the arcade classic that has been testing nerves since 1981 โ and now it's here, free in your browser. Hop your frog from the bottom of the screen, across five lanes of traffic and five lanes of river, to one of five home spots at the top. No downloads, no accounts, no sign-ups: the game is running the moment the page loads.
Your frog starts at the bottom safe zone of a 13-by-13 grid. Move it upward one cell at a time through the road, dodging cars and trucks that travel in both directions at different speeds. Then cross the river by hopping onto floating logs and turtles โ step into open water and you sink. Reach any of the five green home spots to lock it in and earn bonus points for every second you have left on the clock.
Fill all five home spots and you move to the next level, where the traffic gets faster and the timer gets tighter. You have three lives and 60 seconds per level, so every hop counts.
Desktop: Arrow keys to hop one cell in any direction. Press P to pause.
Mobile: Swipe in any direction to move, or tap the canvas to jump forward โ no buttons needed.
Reaching a home spot earns 50 points plus a time bonus of half your remaining seconds. Hopping onto a log or turtle keeps your frog safe, so the fastest route across the river isn't always the smartest one. The quicker you fill all five homes, the more time bonus you bank before the next level speeds things up.
Frogger was designed in 1981 by Konami developer Koji Tada and became one of the highest-earning arcade games in history. This browser version keeps the classic grid-based gameplay while adding crisp canvas graphics, synth sound effects for every hop and splash, and a local high-score leaderboard. It's one of the free classic games on ZenClick โ ready for a quick break whenever you are.
