Pong is the table tennis classic that launched the arcade era โ and it's here, free in your browser. Rally a glowing ball past your opponent with two simple paddles and the very first competitive video game joy. Face a beatable AI in 1-player mode, or grab a friend and go head-to-head in local 2-player matches on the same screen. No downloads, no accounts, no sign-ups: pick a mode and serve.
Each rally starts with the ball flying toward the center of the court. Move your paddle to meet it, and bounce it past your opponent's paddle to score a point. Hit the ball with different parts of your paddle to control the angle โ clip it near the top or bottom edge to send it careening โ and be ready, because every paddle hit nudges the ball a little faster. The first player to reach 5 points wins the match.
Desktop: Player 1 uses W and S or moves the mouse up and down, Player 2 uses the Up and Down arrows, and P pauses the match.
Mobile: touch and drag on the left half of the screen to move Player 1, or on the right half to move Player 2 in two-player mode.
Score a point every time the ball gets past your opponent's paddle, and take the match by being first to 5. The game remembers your results โ the final score, the winner, and the mode you played โ in a local leaderboard, so you can track your streak and settle the family rivalry for good.
Pong began life in 1972 as a humble table-tennis simulation and became the game that put arcades on the map. This browser version keeps the spirit alive with smooth physics, glowing green and orange paddles, a cyan ball that picks up speed, and retro synth sounds for every hit, wall bounce, and point. It's one of 20 free classic games on ZenClick, ready to play on your phone, tablet, or desktop โ how many rallies can you sustain?
